Health and Safety Update

Building a Tradition of Excellence

The LECET holiday event usually scheduled for December will once again be cancelled. With the flu, RSV and Covid season upon us,  we continue to closely monitor the changing environment concerning the spread of these health concerns as well as other contagious diseases. These viruses spread easily and quickly which has led to continued precautions at the Training Facility.  It is out of our deep concern about the health and safety of our members, officers and staff that we have decided to keep the building closed except for training classes and the occasional meeting. We will continue to monitor the health situation and keep everyone informed via this website. Please wear a mask to ensure you remain healthy and safe.

As Always:

Monthly dues and now apprentice initiation payments can be paid in 3 ways:

  1. Dues (under the dues tab) and apprentice initiation payments (under the members tab) can be paid with a credit card on our website – www.laborerslocal91.org
  2. Checks mailed in.
  3. Cash or check deposited through the drop box in the metal door next to the kitchen window on the Pension (south) side of the building. If you are dropping off any materials, mail, dues, etc. please make sure the envelope containing your materials has your name clearly printed on the envelope. Lift the lid and slide your materials through the slot and they will be retrieved by staff. A receipt will be mailed to you.

Currently, you must have a scheduled appointment to enter the building for any reason. Every person who enters the building will be required to wear a face covering which covers the mouth and nose. If you are sick, if you have a fever, if you have been exposed to anyone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or Monkeypox; or who has exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 or Monkeypox in the past 14 days, you will not be allowed to enter the building. Please also continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines when in the building- allowing for a 6 foot buffer between yourself and fellow visitors/staff. Please refrain from all physical contact with others on the grounds or in the training facility. The only way to enter this facility will be the front double doors except for night classes when the back training door will be open.

We will be disinfecting all common areas frequently in between visitors. No food will be prepared or served until further notice for any meeting or class. Classes will be limited to 10-20 attendees (depending on the type of course offered) by advance registration only – absolutely no walk-ins will be allowed at this time. The same rules stated above will apply to all class attendees. Class registration can be completed on our website www.laborerslocal91.org or by calling Randy at 716-940-6007. Please look at posted classes online to see if they are being offered in person or online. Absolutely no class schedule or registration will be posted inside the training facility until further notice.

Again, we ask for your patience as we progress in a safe manner for all members and staff.
